Once I submit the online
submission form, when should I expect a response?
You will receive confirmation the same working day for all calls,
emails, or online submission received by 3:00P.M. Pacific Time.
Please see our schedule page for schedule
availability
Please email the file, user documentation, and any other pertinent
files, in the form of a single .zip file to motorola@qpqa.com.
Also, please reference the Checklist
for details on the necessary submission items. For further information
on WinZip, please see www.winzip.com.
How long do the tests
take and how will I know my results?
Complete testing for an application will take approximately 3 days
for a single local application and 5 days for a single network enabled
application. A final report will be sent electronically to the address
supplied as the "Email distribution for reports" on the online
submission form.
Once the certification tests start, no changes can be made to that
version of the application. Point releases or versions that include
bug fixes only can be submitted for retest. Versions that include
new features will need to be resubmitted for a full test to obtain
the logo for the new version of your application.
What
if I want my application to be compliant for a specific network?
Please note that each carrier may conduct
additional requirements and/or certification programs for J2ME applications
submitted to the program. In order for your application to be distributed
to specific service subscribers, please be sure to comply with carriers
programs.
For applications distributed by Nextel, please visit developer.nextel.com
for more information."
