Standalone MIDlet Applications - Full Test: $1435 US, Retest: $1110 US

For an individual application that is not part of a MIDlet suite, the standalone MIDlet Application rate applies. Note that this fee does not include the additional testing for international languages, additional handset models, or network enabled applications. Please see the appropriate section below for more information.

Suite Applications - Base price: $460 US, Full Test (per application): $930 US, Retest (per application): $650 US

Where a submission is for a MIDlet suite, a base price applies for the whole suite, plus a price for each application within the MIDlet suite. For example, a suite containing 3 applications would cost $3,250 US (Base price of $460 US, plus $930 US for each of the 3 applications). Note that this fee does not include the additional testing for international languages or network enabled applications. Please see the appropriate section below for more information.

Please note: that if an ISV intends to release applications from a MIDlet suite also as separate applications, both the suite and standalone versions of the application can be submitted simultaneously for a single charge. If both versions of the application are submitted simultaneously, the application will be charged at the standalone MIDlet application rate. In this case, the majority of the testing will be performed on the application as a standalone entity, and the remainder of the testing will be performed on the application as part of a suite.

International Applications - (additional charge per application, per language): $140 US

For applications that are designed with languages other than US English, an additional fee applies for each additional language other than US English.

Additional Handset Models - (additional charge per application, per handset model): $260 US

For applications that support multiple handset models, some of the tests need to be repeated. Models i85s, i55sr, i50sx and i90c are considered as one handset model. The i80s and the i90cl handsets are considered additional handset models. For example, if an application supports the i80s handset in addition to the i85s handset, this fee applies. All tests in the User Interface section and Documentation test 7.5.1 are repeated for additional handset models.

Network Enabled Applications - (additional charge per application): $650 US

For Network Enabled applications, the fee listed above is in addition to the Standalone MIDlet or Suite Application submission fee. For retests, the fee is only applicable if the application does not meet one or more of the tests in the Network Requirements section of the test kit (see section 7.3 below). This Network Enabled charge applies to each standalone application or each MIDlet Suite application.
